Focus of Worship • Idols have no understanding • “eyes” cannot see • “ears” cannot hear
Focus of Worship • We become what we worship • Shut their eyes – they cannot see • Close their heart – cannot understand
Focus of Worship • God gives us what we seek • Deceived heart (20) • Cannot deliver himself
Focus on Worship • Transparency (even on the cross) • Open – not in secret or vain • Speaks what is right • Calls us to himself • State your case
Focus on Worship • Just God and Savior • Look and be saved (Mark 16:16) • Sent his Word in righteousness (Ps 107:20) • All will bow and confess (Philippians 2:10-11)
Application • Our God is alive and well!! • Call on Him and he will answer • Conform to Him – not him to us
