  3. Population and Rank The Current population of Spain is an estimated 47,190,493 It is ranked 3rd in size of the countries in Europe It is ranked 11th compared to the rest of the countries in the world

  4. Average Life expectancy • The average life expectancy of someone that lives in Spain is 77 for the men and 80 for the women. • Compared to the rest of the countries in Europe this is relatively the same, but compared to the United States it is low.

  5. Religion • Most People that live in Spain follow the Roman Catholic Church. • The basic beliefs of the catholic church is that you can find all the truths from the Bible, all 66 versions of it. Compared the Protestant church the Catholic church chooses its clergy men completely different. The Catholics choose strictly unmarried man. Compared to the protestants that choose married men to be there clergy men. Also the catholic version of hell is basically the same as the protestant views of hell they both believe that it is a place of punishment that lasts for all eternity. But the Catholics also believe in Libo or pergatory which is a neutral place that is not heaven or hell just a place to prove were you should go.

  6. Language • The most common language that is spoken in Spain is Spanish. • Basic Phrases • “comoestas?”.....how are you? • “Hola”…..hello. • “coma se ama?”…..whats your name? • “lo siento”…..im sorry • “teamo”…..i love you

  7. Major Holiday • The Spains people celebrate Christmas just like every other catholic country on earh. In the Spanish culture it is called Navidad. The Spanish people leave out milk in glasses, but do not leave cookies. In the spanish speaking coutries they all go to church for a midnight mass on christmas eve and then a mass on noon. The hispaniscultute involves giving gifts to each other and well as from receiving them from “Santa”.

  8. Recipe Mexican Wedding Cookies 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened 1 cup powdered sugar, divided 1 tsp. vanilla 2 cups flour 1 cup finely chopped PLANTERS Pecans Make It PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Beat butter, 1/2 cup of the powdered sugar and the vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Gradually add flour and pecans, beating on low speed after each addition until well blended. SHAPE dough into 1-inch balls. Place, 1-1/2 inches apart, on ungreased baking sheets. BAKE 14 to 15 min. or until bottoms of cookies are lightly browned. Cool 5 min. on baking sheets. Roll warm cookies in remaining 1/2 cup powdered sugar until evenly coated; place on wire racks. Cool completely. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.

  9. Alhambra • The Alhambra is probably the niggest tourist attraction in Spain. • I would go and visit it if you are interested in the history of the Spanish coulter. Or in the history of the roman catholic religions influence on Spain. It is an incredibly beautiful palace in spain that really just shows how beautiful Spanish Artatectural can be.
