COMENIUS PROJECT « WORDS DON’T COME EASY » FIRST MEETING IN BELGIUM 20-24th NOVEMBER 2013. On 20th November 2013, we departed from Antalya Airport to go to Belgium , Brussels . We reached to Sint Niklaas from Brussels after one hour journey by train.

On 20th November 2013, wedepartedfrom Antalya AirporttogotoBelgium, Brussels. WereachedtoSintNiklaasfromBrusselsafteronehourjourneybytrain.
On 21st November 2013, we had a citytourguidedbythestudents in themorning. Thecitytookits name fromStNicholas. Thepeopleliving in thecitybelievethatStNicholaswasborn in Demre, Antalya but then he movedtoSintNiklaas, soStNiklaas is thesymbol of thecity.
Withtheopeningceremonywestartedour Project Meeting in theBroeders Handel School.
Weorganised a regional market andweintroducedourcountry, cityandschoolwiththelocalproducts.
On 22nd November, theTurkishstudentsparticipatedinto a GymclasswiththeBelgian(Flemish) studentsandtheteachers had Project meetings.
Wevisited “ThePersgroup” which is thebiggestprintingcenter of theregionandgotinformed.
Wevisited “Thomas MoreAdvertisingandCommunicationFaculty” in Mechelen. Thegrouplearnt how theyproduce TV andradioprogrammesandalso a lecturewasgiventothestudentsandtheteachersabout “usingsocialmedia”. Oneof ourfrieds Atahan Yıldırım wasinterviewedbythestudents of theuniversityandtheypublishedthisinterview on theirwebsiteandtheir magazine.(http://www.21bis.be)
For“CommunicatingwithStars”weclimbedupthetower of thechurchwhich has 550 steps in Mechelen.
On 23rd November, thestudents had a workshop relatedwithmakingmusicalinstruments in themorning.
Wevisitedthemuseum of “PlantinMoretus”, accepted as a World heritageby UNESCO. It is an importantmuseum as it is thefirstprintingpress in Europe. WesawthefirstprintingBible in thatmuseum.
On thelasteveningwe had a dinner at school a farewellparty. We had a greatfunthere!
