GEORGIA • Georgia was founded in 1732 by James Oglethorpe. • They farmed wheat,corn,rice,indago,tobaco. • The colony was named after England's King George the 2nd. • Georgia became a state in 1788.
Maryland • Marylandwas founded in 1633 by Lord Baltimore and others at Baltimore. • They grew corn,tabaco, wheat, and other food. • In their colony was a hard life for every body. No body got to rest . Even kids had to work for a living .
South Carolina • South Carolina was found by England contest in 1663 • They hunted food to eat. • Some of the major industries were wheat,corn,and tobacco.
North Carolina • North Carolina was founded in 1653 by virgina colonist. • Some of the major industries were indgo,tabaco and rice . • North Carolina was named after Carolos the Latin word for Charles.
Virginia • Virginia was founded by John smith in 1607 and others at Jamestown. • Virginia became a state in 1788 • The major industries were indigo,tabaco,wheat,corn • Virginia was named after England's Virgin Queen
