  3. THREAT • Two flood waves of 5 lacs cusecs and 8.5 lacs cusecs are mov in succession in R Chenab • A flood wave of 4 lacs cusecs is mov in R Jehlum • At Present Confluence of flood wave in R Chenab and R Jehlum, at Trimmu - a magnified threat for Mtn and Mzg

  4. TENTATIVE FLOOD FORECAST TIMMING FOR MTN AND MZG (REF FFD EX PMD) Cumulative eff of all three waves likely to generate a serious threat to Mtn and Mzg – 7 – 8 lac cusecs. Attenuation and dissipation due to Trimmu Breaches is likely to reduce the inflow at Multan / Mzg by 25 %
