  3. b) In what ways has Great Yarmouth’s site influenced its growth and functions? (6 KU) Great Yarmouth is on the coast!

  4. c) What map evidence is there to suggest Belton (4802) and Reedham (4202) might be dormitory settlements? (4 ES) (Most working residents, in dormitory settlements, travel to work in nearby towns or cities.) 4 Marks of ES, thus the answers mainly will be provided, in this case on the map, and you are asked for map evidence anyway. And what is a dormitory settlement?

  5. d) Study Reference Map Q1A, reference table Q1B, and the OS map extract. Explain the possible different points of view that people might have about the Conservation Scheme. (6 ES) You need to think about who would be FOR and who AGAINST the scheme…. Therefore you would have to READ the information! BUT TRY NOT TO BE DOGMATIC!
