3 In hospital Care for Tuberculosis Disease:-Provide Smear Microscopy for those who require it 4.Microscopy & Treatment Centre:-(Population-1Lakh) The N.G.O operates a designated microscopy & Treatment Centre. 5.T.B.Unit Model:-(Population 5 Lakh) Provides all R.N.T.C.P. Services of Diagnosis,Treatment,Direct Observation of Tt., DefaultRetrieval,Recording&Reporting and Supervision for a T.B.Unit.
Essential Requirements:-1.Services,Drugs,Chemicals and other materials provided either by Govt. of India or state Govt. must be provided Free by the N.G.O. 2.The N.G.O. must follw the guidelines of G.O.I. for Diagnosis and Treatment. 3.Training will be provided by G.O.I./State Govt/N.G.O.(as required) 4.Supervision will be by Govt agencies. 5 Recording and Reporting will have to be done on forms and Formats designed by Govt of India/State Govt.
