Since the last workshop… • Despite the current economical environment, Rio DE experienced 4% growth – Fall ‘08 to Fall ‘09 • Direct involvement of liaisons • Improved communication between Rio and students • Improvement in meeting 45th Day mandate • More potential issues with enrollment forms were caught by liaisons prior to submittal to Rio • Introduced and rescinded not collecting payment by the liaison. • The follow-up and confusion associated with not taking payments up front • Added another site coordinator

New Registration Process • Two step process for new students • Student Information Form - https://matrix.riosalado.edu/RioWebApps/public/Rio.DERegistration.UI/Registration.aspx • Similar to the process used by Turbo Tax • Electronic Form • Form must be completed in its entirety but it can be submitted • Registration Request Form • Note that this form is a request. Although it appears to be actually registering the student on-line, it’s not. • By clicking on class(es) vs. typing/writing in the Course ID or Section #, the potential for error is greatly reduced. • Returning students will still have to submit the Registration Request Form only.

How to Schedule Placement Testing Go to: http://www.riosalado.edu/programs/dual/placementTesting/Pages/HighSchoolLiasons.aspx • There are three steps to complete your registration: • Register for a Test Session • Submit a Testing Worksheet • Provide a roster of students’ names & Maricopa Student ID Numbers

  8. Creating a New Account: Go to http://testsignup.riosalado.edu • You will only need to create an account ONCE. • To do so, click on “My Account”.

  9. Then click on the “click here” link.

  10. *Denotes a required field. Please fill in ALL of the required information and then press the “Submit” button. We suggest that you use the following information for the required fields, once the information is set, we are unable to access or change it for you. • For the Username field, please use your first name. Last name (i.e. leah.smith) • For the Password field, please use the name of your high school. • For the Department field, please select Dual Enrollment. • For the Status field, please select Proctor.

  11. Step 1Viewing & Scheduling Available Test Sessions: Click on “To Sign up for a class click here.” to find an available test session. **This process must be completed for EACH DAY you want to administer placement testing at your high school. Click on “Dual Enrollment Placement Testing”.

  12. ACCUPLACER – Administered by HS Staff ACCUPLACER – Administered by Rio SaladoASSET – Administered by Rio SaladoClick on the test administration type that fits your schools needs. You have three testing options to choose from:

  13. Registering for a Test Session: Click on “Please Click Here To Enroll” to register for a test session. You may register for multiple test session, by clicking Enroll for each test session you want to register for. You are NOT registered for a test session until you click on “CHECKOUT”.

  14. Checking Out: Once you have clicked on Enroll, you will see the test session(s) you selected listed under “Classes to register” on the left. After you have added all of the test sessions you wish to register for, click on “CHECKOUT”.

  15. You will receive a Registration Confirmation. Please verify you have selected the correct test session date and click “Submit”.

Step 2 & 3Completing your registration: • Go to http://www.riosalado.edu/programs/dual/placementTesting/Pages/HighSchoolLiasons.aspx • Submit a “Testing Worksheet” • Provide a roster of students’ names and Maricopa Student ID Numbers. • **You must complete these steps for each Test Session you register for.
