  2. Motivation • No uniform societies support ACCVs • Each ACCV has different format of proc. • No office to sell all back numbers of previous ACCV proc.

  3. Format • Form a loose federation of CV, IP and related societies in Asia • Example of CV & IP societies in Japan • SIG-CVIM in IPSJ (Current Chairman: Ikeuchi) • SIG-PRMU in IEICE (Current Chairman: Yachida)

  4. Activities • Chairmen meeting at each ACCV • advice next ACCV • discuss cooperation among societies • fellowship (if any surplus from previous ACCV) • General meeting after each banquet of ACCV • decide important decisions • Permanent ACCV contact office • back number • a contact point of next ACCV

  5. Officers • Chairman -- General Chairman of next ACCV • Vice-chairman -- Program Chairman of next ACCV • Secretary -- professor at the ACCV office

  6. Committee • Advisory committee -- previous ACCV general chairs • Steering committee -- chairmen of all participating societies • By-law committee -- Chair: Ikeuchi • Award committee -- Chair: Fan • Publication Com -- Chair: Chin

  7. Chairmen meeting At each ACCV • Advisory committee -- ex general chairs • Steering committee -- chairmen of the all societies that participate AFCV

  8. Member • Members -- who attend the current ACCV • Term -- from the current ACCV through the next ACCV • Each member has one voting right at the general meeting

  9. General meeting • All important decisions will be made at the ACCV general mtg (not at chairmen mtg) • ACCV general meeting will be held after the banquet of ACCV • all participants to the meeting have the voting right
