  2. The Wheelchair-pallet • To be placed on each airport • Transportation of electric wheelchairs from check-in area to aircraft • Communication between wheelchair user and handling personnel • Safe treatment hereby reducing the amount of damages on wheelchairs.

  3. Solution:The WheelChair - Pallet • Size 90 x 150cm • Three fixed walls • Adjustable trapdoor • Also suitable for transport of skies, coffins and other long/bulky items.

  4. From check-in area: • Wheelchair is driven on to the pallet by user. • Handling personnel will get instructions from the owner how to handle the chair. • Safe transportation • Total length downfolded trapdoor 210 cm

  5. Baggage sorting area: The wheelchair-pallet is transported to the baggage sorting area on its own wheels.

  6. To the aircraft: • Transport to the aircraft is done by forklift truck • Standard Euro pallet dimensions – see picture.

  7. Loading into aircraft: • Handling staff can easily transport and place electric wheelchair into the cargo compartment • Better working conditions for the staff – less lifting!

  8. Suitable for different aircrafts: The wheelchair pallet is suitable for all aircraft having adequate cargo compartments.

  9. Easy transport on/off the aircraft: • The wheelchair pallet on its way into a Dash 8-300 • The wheelchair is secured on the pallet with the fixed sides preventing damages.
