Status of IAP radars on Andøya • MAARSY • May 2010: Operation with 210 transceiver modules (45%) • Summer 2010: PMSE observation, first 3D-experiments • December 2010: second expansion stage with 343 transceiver modules (80%) • April 2011: completion of installation • Andenes MF radar • new foundation and air-condition • installation of new power cable by Andøy Energy • disturbances probably due to arcing isolators in overhead power lines are still present! • Saura MF radar • upgrade of local network started • SKiYMET meteor radar • disturbances probably due to arcing isolators in overhead power lines are still present • investigation by IAP engineer is planned for April 2011 • refurbishment of antennas is planned for 2011 18th Meeting of the ALOMAR Science Advisory Committee, Norderstedt, 22/23 March 2011
