  5. Constructions • When it tells us to construct a figure, you MUST use a compass. A compass is a geometric tool used to construct angles, arcs, copy lines, and drawing circles.

  6. Let’s Try Some Constructions • Let’s start with PERPENDICULAR BISECTOR. • Now let’s try an ANGLE BISECTOR.

  7. Reviewing Segment and Angle Addition • Things to remember: • Step 1: Always label your picture. • Step 2: Then write an equation. • Step 3: Then solve the equation. • Step 4: Plug your values into your segment or angle lengths.
