  1. Welcome to Science! • Please find a seat in the classroom anywhere you want. • Fill out a “Student Information Sheet” located on your table and wait for directions. Science 6 Mrs. Guerra 8-26-13

  2. Name Plate: Mrs. Guerra • Make a name plate. Make sure your name is written in BIG letters so I can see it. • Fold it in half (hot dog style) the long way. • Write your name and decorate your name plate. Write “Science” on it somewhere. • Please bring your name plate to class with you everyday.

  3. Review: • What did you learn last year in science?

  4. 8-26-13 Objective • Everyday you will have an objective that you will write in your planner. • Today’s objective: Complete student survey and get an introduction to the science classroom. This will be written weekly on the board. I will write it a short way for you to write in your agenda. Ex: See Objective Board.

  5. Homework • Complete Student Survey by tomorrow. • Bring in two Science journals by Friday.

  6. Expectations • Respect/Behavior • Seating Arrangement • Attention Signals • Restroom (Sign In and Out)

  7. Expectations Continued… • Bell Work • Labs, activities, class work (Journals) Fri 30 • Absent Work • Homework-Nevergive me anything unless it is a note from your parent!!! Otherwise put it in the homework basket.

  8. Closure: • What is due on Friday? • 2 Journals • Where do you turn homework in? • The basket in the back. • So tomorrow when you walk in you will turn in your student sheet to the basket! PLEASE DO NOT ask me what to do with your homework!

  9. LTMR: • This is where we review concepts we have already learned, but since this class is new to you there is currently no review.
