HeartFailure 2009 Congress • Heart Failure 2009 is a joint Congress: HFA of the ESC & ES-ISHR • 7 lecture rooms running in parallel, 74 Scientific Sessions • More than 1200 abstracts to be submitted • Poster sessions: Sunday/Monday all day – Tuesday morning. Saturday: optional ! • 11 satellite sessions requested • A full exhibition – 900 sqm requested • Lunches and Coffee Breaks offered in the exhibition hall on Sunday and Monday • Expected attendance: 3500 active participants =>3500 conference bags will be done

Important Congress Dates • Advance Programme Available Online • ESC Online Services Open (Abstract submission, registration, hotel accommodation) • Abstracts Submission Deadline 14 January 2009 Extended to January 19 • Results of the Abstract Selection beginning of March 2009 • Deadline for Early Registration Fee 27 March 2009 • Deadline for Pre-registration 24 April 2009

Your Important dates • 2 February 2009 Deadline for companies to send the complete scientific programme of the Satellite Session & the Meet the Experts session. • 16 February 2009 Deadline for application of Sponsorship and Promotional items : final program advertisement, on site advertisement, congress bags inserts • 13 March 2009 Deadline for companies and Publishers to send their Product or Company Description for reproduction in the Final Programme.  • 23 March 2009 Deadline for Exhibitors to send an exact statement of the dimensions of the stand, as well as plans and descriptions of the stand; both layout and side elevation view. Safety certificates should be submitted by this date if required. Deadline for Satellite organizers’ to send the corrected proofs of their scientific program back to the ESC.

  14. Your Important dates • 27 March 2009 Deadline for Companies to send a proof of the material to insert in the congress bags for the ESC validation. Deadline for Companies to send proof of the slides to be shown on Information screens • 17 April 2009 Deadline for companies to inform the ESC of the Stand Activity and Give Away distributed on the Stand. • 27 April 2009 Deadline to order free exhibitors badges. • 30 April 2009 Deadline to receive the slides to be shown on Information screens Deadline to receive at the ESC all material to be inserted in the congress bags. Deadline for Erratum: deadline for companies to send any alterations of the satellite symposia contents. Deadline to order material /services through Acropolis. After 30 April: 15 % increase
