  3. Is evaluation very important? Yes! Why all the fuss about evaluation? Does the evaluation process add value? Yes! Is there a simple theory and practice for evaluation? Yes. Is evaluation easy in practice? It depends.

PRIORITY 1 Validate PRIORITY 2 Evaluate & ROI (£’s) PRIORITY 3 Shift BOX 1 ‘Must have’ BOX 2 ‘Added value’ BOX 3 ‘Nice to have’ Basic education Minimum standards/ Compliance with legislation Language? Literacy? Numeracy? Performance improvement arising from:- More Knowledge Better skills Applied learning Not sure why we’re doing this but it sounds like a good idea
