His Life William Howe was born on August 10, 1729 to Emanuel Howe, and Charlotte Howe. He was the youngest of 3 brothers. He was born in England and died in Plymouth, at the age of 84. He was born in England. He died in Plymouth.
Him in the Revolutionary War He was a Commander-in-Chief in the British military. He fought in the war as a general. He didn’t fight in first part of 1777. When he actually fought he defeated George Washington in the Battle of Brandywine then took over Philadelphia. A British General Uniform.
Loyalist or Patriot Loyalist, he was a British General, or Commander-in-Chief. A picture of Loyalists.
Life After the War He survived the Revolutionary War, then retired from Commander-in-Chief.
My Opinion He was a great officer to join the military at 17 and become a captain at 21. He became a captain. Military at war.
Additional & Interesting Facts Howe was in the service for 57 years, 1746-1803.
