2. Accepting the Givens of Life • Life responds positively to embracing the givens that life has put before us. When we shun what life has put before us, we remain as we are, or even fall backwards. However, when we take up the current needs, the current work we are obligated to do -- whether to our liking or not -- good or great fortune tends to quickly follow. • My situation at Computerland (at the outset of this presentation) is an example • Dee Hock Situation – he accepted his plight and life responded with him being involved with and then the CEO of Visa International.

3. --Woman Accepts Givens to Work in Sales and Attracts the Job of Her Dreams Not too long ago I was contacted by a Facebook friend of mine who told me that she had been offered positions in sales.  However, she did not take advantage of these offers because she preferred pursuing her acting career instead. I then suggested that rather than reject the sales work offer, she should accept it in full, putting aside her acting career for the time being.  Well it turns out that as soon as she accepted and responded to the sales work offers, she immediately received word from out of nowhere that she had been offered a job as a radio actor! In other words, by focusing on and embracing the situation at hand, in this case the sales work, she was able to attract her heart’s desire in the form of the acting role. Or to put it another way, when she shifted from a negative to a positive attitude about the current conditions, life quickly turned around and gave her everything she wanted! Just a little follow-up to this story. The young woman recently told me that that when she went for the audition for the drama part, the lady there loved her performance. In fact, they wanted my friend to become a permanent member of the cast! That is the extraordinary life response power of embracing the conditions that life has put before you, whether you like them or not. It opens the door to infinite possibilities!

4. ----Willingness to Accept Menial Job to Service Propels Jockey to the Stars Life not only responds when we embrace life and accept the givens that before us. When we shun what life has put before us, we remain as we are, or even fall backwards. However, when we take up the current needs, or work – whether to our liking or not -- good fortune tends to quickly follow. In the Seabiscuitbased on true life incidents, we see early on how Red has failed to live up to his own expectations -- both as jockey and as boxer. However, rather than give up, he shows a willingness to do whatever he has to do to survive. At one point, we see how Red was willing to take on the lowest of jobs – i.e. tending to the needs of a washed up racehorse. As a result, Tom, who was looking for a racehorse for Charles, suddenly appears out of nowhere, and meets with Red. This changes Red’s life forever. In essence, Red’s willingness to accept the current conditions of life by performing the lowest of jobs in order to move out of his current limited condition attracts a powerful positive response in the form of Tom’s appearance, who will become the conduit for his great success aboard Seabiscuit. Because Red was willing to accept the current conditions of life by performing the lowest of jobs in order to move out of his miserable condition, he attracted a powerful positive response in the form of an unknown individual who helped him achieve his fondest dreams.

5. --Acceptance of Conditions M, a dynamic, hardworking entrepreneur, was offered a multi-million dollar business opportunity by his brother on condition that he accepts a third person as a silent partner and offer him half the profits for doing no work. After struggling with his sense of unfairness & resentment, M decided to offer the partner whatever share he wanted and to do it happily. The partner scaled back his demands and accepted just 35% share. A few months later, the partner offered to withdraw and left the entire project to M. It is impossible not to resent or react when people treat us unfairly. But when we are able to rise above those reactions and take a patient, expansive view, we find the unreasonable demand is withdrawn and replaced by unexpected good fortune.

6. --Appreciating Current Job Enables Attraction Of Job Closer To One’s Dreams “I felt it was time to leave my current job, which I was doing for one day a week, as it wasn’t leading where I wanted to go. But I wasn’t sure if I could afford to let it go as it paid well – but got on with my ‘inner work’ regardless: I started appreciating my existing job, I also put on the Universe List ‘Bring me the perfect job for me, easily and effortlessly’ Within a very short time – weeks, really- I was offered one-day-a-week’s work – on the same day – within an area that is closer to my life’s purpose. I was able to easily help find my replacement and it all worked out very well and without effort.” Here we see that appreciating one’s current Job can attract of job closer to one’s dreams.

7. Embracing Life’s Initiatives Succeeds • In doing a study of the novel Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin we documented how individuals initiated important actions in their lives, and in most instances either failed outright or what succeeded was fraught with limitations. However, in the instance where Life came to them, as when Mr. Darcy is forced by life to reconcile the elopement scandal, it ended in tremendous success, including the winning over of the woman of his dreams. • When we then looked around and examined other’s experiences, this seemed to also be the case. Taking up an opportunity usually ends in success, while initiating one one’s own succeeds far less often. The lesson being that if a real opportunity presents itself seriously consider it, rather than reject it outright or ignore it. It is very often Life summoning you to your higher calling. • When IBM approached Bill Gates at Microsoft to ask if they could use the DOS operating system, the history of personal computers was jump started. What luck had come into Gates’ life from an opportunity that had come to him from the world! His company’s destiny and fortune was now set.

8. --Request to Do Training Leads to Lifetime of Training (Initiatives of Life Succeed) • Karmayogi indicates that more often than not human initiative fails. And yet if we take up the initiative of Life, we invariably succeed. The initiative of Life is that which comes to us on its own, e.g. as an opportunity or a suggestion or something directly implored. When we take up that Calling, the result is overwhelmingly likely to succeed. • A man was working at a desktop publishing center headquarters, where he was the head of the dozens of franchisee operations worldwide. One day his boss asked him to engage in some training for a franchisee at the headquarters. He thought it a pretty trivial use of his time, yet he did it nonetheless. A week or so later, two well-dressed women entered the headquarters location and asked the man if they could talk in private. They then asked him if he was interested in doing software training classes for their training company. He agreed, did several classes for the firm, which launched his 25-year training career. The women coming in was the initiative of Life, which he acceded to, opening the door to overwhelming career change and significant success.

9. --Life’s Initiatives that Created a Business Succeeded, whereas Self-Initiatives Were Troubled or Failed • I resigned from a company in August 2008 to start my own venture –a pan India company voluntarily called me to give distribution agency without any guarantees and deposits to start Coimbatore -which was hitherto unknown place for me. I agreed and the development was miraculous. After two years I thought how any growing company can be without business in Chennai and so I voluntarily took up another product of International repute for distribution in Chennai but till date it runs with hiccups and every time high have to run to Mother to solve the problems. First time I took the one that came to me without thinking about unknown area or unknown product. Second time I relied on everything I know. • Similarly, In Coimbatore, I took an office cum warehouse that came on my way, without any conditions attached as I was desperate at the time to start immediately and was ready to accept whatever comes first. But I didn’t like that, as it was small lane and not easy for car / lorry movement. Nevertheless I took that as I had no other option at that time. • In April 2009, as an expansion plan, I voluntarily decided to open a branch in Madurai. But this time I planned elaborately –in outskirts good location, good for vehicle movement, loading unloading etc. and got it, as I wished. But after few months (in March 2010), when I analyzed the business I saw - Coimbatore-is yielding results in different angle. As it is in commercial location and nearest to “town bus stand” small time dealers of nearby towns finding it easy to come, purchase and return by same bus which has developed some sort of retail market –which was not in my business plan at all. But in Madurai it is very difficult to maintain the big office, particularly the cleanliness and difficult to approach as even our labors are finding it difficult to reach, very difficult to generate business in this time of business slow down and finally closed . • Reader: Life's initiative always gives us the best results when compared to our own initiatives. 10. --Life’s Initiative that Spread and Succeeded • We know that when life initiates and you take up that opportunity, it tends to create successful outcomes, whereas when you initiate on your own it tends to fail as much as (or more than) succeed. • There is also this corollary: If a party responds to a life initiative and is required to take another initiative related to it, and then another party responds to that initiative, which requests action to be taken (in essence a life initiative to them), then that second party will also succeed. In other words, life initiatives can spread to others, and likewise attract very positive outcome when that opportunity is seized. • Example: A fast growing organization was afforded an opportunity to offer training, which was a life initiative to them, which they took up, leading to the development of an event, which they developed successfully. For that to happen, others had to be informed for marketing purposes, so they sent out notices to various parties. One of the parties received the invitation (it was a life initiative to them), took it up, and their efforts of design and implementation went smoothly, ended successfully. Thus we see that responding to life’s initiatives successfully (first party) vibrate forward to other parties experiencing the same.

11. --Initiatives of the Spirit • While the initiative of Life is far more likely to create success than one’s own, there is a form of it that succeeds unfailingly. It occurs when we are open to the Spirit, consecrating activities in life, out of which come the profoundest of all directions and indicators from the field of Life. • Instances where Life has been activated by the Spirit create initiatives for us that are sure to succeed when we embrace them, and do so out of all logical proportion. In these cases, the Life initiative is filled with Grace. Sometimes the Grace is disguised through non-spiritual like occasions and individuals; still it is the Spirit working nonetheless. To the degree we accept the spiritualized initiative of Life, we are catapulted to the pinnacles of accomplishment and spiritual success.

13. --Woman Reverses & Accepts Funds for Her Cafe • Opportunities coming your way (life’s initiative) • Example: A woman ran a café that was in her family for generations. Now it was failing. She was distraught to no end. Someone who loved her offered her money. At first she absolutely refused it and him. At the very moment she finally gave in and accepted him and the funds, she got a call in which she learned about whereabouts of her long lost nephews.

Accepting the Situation Leads to Achieving One’s Original Intent M, a dynamic, hardworking entrepreneur, was offered a multi-million dollar business opportunity by his brother on condition that he accepts a third person as a silent partner and offer him half the profits for doing no work. 16. --Self-Initiative to Start New Sales Business Fails An individual was trying to raise his income in the wake of the financial crisis of 2008, and decided to create an online sales company, selling tapestries from India. Though he had some initial success, ultimately the venture failed. The reason? It was an initiative HE undertook; not which Life initiated or sanctioned, reducing the chance of success greatly, which is precisely what occurred.

17. --Two Business Self-Initiatives that Failed When we initiate an undertaking on our own, there will be eagerness or expectation experienced in our nerves. There will be an urge and impulsiveness to execute things as we decide and actually do it. Such unbalanced, self-driven initiatives tend to fail as much as they succeed. In addition it can be accompanied by a sense of strain or even push back in such an undertaking. On the other hand, initiatives of Life-- i.e. one's sanctioned by higher consciousness, the universal plane -- will not have these qualities, and as a result tend to succeed greatly. A man undertook an initiative to reenergize an old business that had essentially died out. There was a sense of urge and expectation in him in the undertaking. There was also stain as others were not very supportive of the project, even leading to push-back from certain quarters. Though there was some initial succeed, things soon petered out, and the project was soon abandoned. Thus our approach should not be to act/initiate when the urge and impulsiveness rises in us, or to continue to pursue in this direction when there is strain and push-back. Instead we should let such feelings recede, which in turn will allow Life to take its own initiatives, which will appear before us as new Opportunities. When we recognize and take them up, they invariably tend to succeed; often exceeding what we thought would happen or what was possible. 19. --Withholding Sending Design Attracts Positive Result from Target Party • If you withhold initiating an action towards another party, they will in turn initiate a very positive action back towards you related to the original or another matter. • E.g. in the past I had a relation with a company that did not end in success. However, recently I had a new design that I thought they could make a beautiful object out of. This time however, I restrained myself and did not forward the design to him because (a) I remembered that things did not work out in the past, and (b) I recalled that initiating tends not to work out (whereas Life initiating works out better). The next day I saw an entry in a discussion forum where this same individual responded very enthusiastically to a post I had recently made, something he had never done over the course of half a decade, even though I had made hundreds of such posts before! • By not initiating to an individual in an area, that individual quickly responded positively in a wholly different area. It is a profound truth of life we can all learn from.

Token Initiatives/Do What You Can One powerful method of attracting good fortune (i.e. Life Response) is that in any difficult situation, including a hopeless one, look around, think about it and DO WHAT YOU CAN, even the smallest thing. Several months later, he became a computer sales person, which kicked off a 30 year career in that field that he practices till this day. By doing what he could in that original desperate situation, by making that token gesture to seek sales employment of any sort, his entire world quickly changed! It was an overwhelming response from life due to a small token initiative for improvement.

23. --Small Order Blossoms into Vast Orders Over Time • When an unknown customer called from a neighboring state and placed a $150 order, the sales manager of a flooring company decided to treat this tiny order by an unknown customer as if it had been placed by the biggest & most important customer the company ever had. The company laid out the red carpet and delivered super service to the customer. The manager's actions didn't make sense to his staff, since they spent much more on the order than they made. But one thing led to another. The customer was so pleased, he spoke to another company and that company placed orders with the flooring company for more than $5 million over the next few years. • Treat every customer as though they are the only customer you have.

25. --Relating the Values & Meaning of the Past to the Present Attracts I just had an astonishing quadruple synchronicity and life response; i.e. four or more parts in one. I enthusiastically described someone from my distant past who I knew at university (Syracuse), his skill and expertise (engineer in electronics field), the school he attended at the university (school of engineering), his area of interest (computer related engineering when ...there were no personal computers yet!) and his last name - Smith. I was enthusiastic because my association with him as it presaged the computer revolution and my involvement with it, long before it began (1971). About an hour later after taking a nap, I opened a web site, and there instantly appeared an ad for that very same university (there are hundreds of such schools in America that could have appeared), for his particular department that he studied in (school of engineering; it could have been for any department), and the name of the school, Smith, which was the same as his! When we deeply, emotionally connect significant circumstance and values of our past to the lives we have come to live, the universe quickly returns the favor and give us detailed information about that association in new, unexpected ways. In this case, four times over!

26. -- Evoking Mirror Image Business Situations by Revisiting the Past When you revisit and make a request of a party through whom you had a success or failure in the past, instantaneously you may receive a communication from an unknown party from out of the blue who had or is having nearly the same experience. It is an astonishing, synchronous association to witness. Moreover, when you see the correlation between the two circumstance, you will know how to address the issue of the second party even though... you hardly know them or their condition, as the subtle principles and rules guiding the original situation of the past will tend to closely apply to the new one. Example: A man contacted a manufacturer in India about a spiritual booklet they supplied. He had done work for the company selling gift items many decades before successfully. However in a recent endeavor the initiative failed. It turns out that the very instant he made the booklet request, he received an email - the only one in the Inbox -- from a proprietor seeking advice on a nearly an identical business situation (selling gifts) to the original initiative of the booklet requester that failed! Also, the essential details were also very much the same. It was a powerful synchronicity that occurred within one second of the booklet request. A mathematician might calculate the chance of this occurring as 1 trillion to the trillionth power. That is the life response power of reigniting a connection from the past -- positive or negative -- which attracts back a virtually mirror image situation from out of nowhere.

29. --Seeing Positive in a Difficult Situation Involving Software Program Attracts Resolution We are often beset by problems that deflate us; leaving us helpless and without hope. However, there is another way to look at such difficulties. It is to see them in a more positive light. If you can look at the difficulties that befall you as an opportunity  to learn something new and as a way to growas a person life will return the favor and respond with good or great fortune. Let me give you an example from my own experience. One day a software program I was working on began to have problems. Then things got worse when error messages started appearing on the screen.  Not knowing what to do, I contacted Help support to see if they could come up with a solution. Normally when such problems occur we tend to get annoyed or deflated, but this time I was able to catch myself, and decided to view the entire situation as a learning experience. I sensed that if I remained still, and simply watched the unfolding of this problematic event without being bothered, I would learn something valuable for the future. And so I put it out of mind and left my office to take care of a few chores. When I returned an hour or two later, someone at Help support for the software program informed me that they could not recreate the problem I reported, and therefore could not diagnose and solve it. I then went over to my computer and tried out the program once more. But this time, the software problem had completely vanished! In essence, the program had self-corrected! Believing that it was a positive response from life, I wondered what I had done to attract it. I then realized that I had earlier taken a positive attitude in the face of a serious difficulty. Rather than fret about the problem, I decided to remain calm and look at it as an opportunity to learn something new. When I took that tact, all emotional resistance within me was eliminated, allowing positive energies to flow. As a result, good fortune quickly came to me when the software problem got solved on its own! But what did I learn that was new from this incident? I learned that if you stay calm and positive in the face of a difficulty, even putting it out of mind for a while, positive conditions tend to follow. So the next time you run into a problem, don’t panic; don’t fret and worry. Instead, take a deep breath, step back, and evaluate the situation. Try to see the difficulty in a positive light, as a learning experience, even as a vehicle to grow as a person. If you do, life will quickly respond with good or great fortune!

32. --Software Error Seen as Opportunity Attracts It’s Self-Correction The best attitude about a problem is seeing it as an opportunity to learn something new. Conditions will then quickly improve. Further comment: I had that very experience today (which compelled me to write the comment above). Here it is: The program I was working on had some problems. There was suddenly error messages. I contacted help support, but more importantly I took the entire situation as a learning process. I thought that maybe I would learn something new as a result. An hour or two later when I returned, the help desk said they could not recreate the problem in the first place in order to diagnose and solve it. I then went to my computer, and alas there was no problem anymore. It had in essence self-corrected. It is the life response power of seeing a difficulty as an opportunity to learn something new.

Life Repeating Phenomenon • If we examine life, we will see that circumstance tend to repeat . • E.g. a man will continually be 10-15 minutes late when you meet with him every two or three years for 25 years. And it occurs wit astonishing precision. • That will not change until he understands the limitations of his way, or because you have a deep aspiration for his timely arrival, or some other knowledge or power is utilized, which evokes an improved condition. What changes the conditions is a new understanding that breaks the repetitions. • In the above case, another man one day used the power of the spiritual Force and his own aspiration for that person to not be late on their dinner meeting. For the first time in 25 years the other person was not late; plus there were many other astonishing developments. • Another example: no matter where a woman works she has problems with her boss in the same way. It only changes when she garners the strength to not be run over by her boss, or when she changes her attitude toward people who are strong-willed • Each act that we engage in is the expression of a force that tends to repeat itself. The greater the intensity of the force and the more times it repeats, the greater its capacity for further repetition. The quality and intensity of the force express in each subsequent repetition of the act. • Such repetitions, particularly those of a negative kind, will cease when we understand the situation at a higher level; i.e. when he perceives something new that he did not know before relative to the issue at hand. • Bottom line; When you see life repeating negatively in your life; try to understand it, and devise a strategies to do things differently. Life will quickly respond in your favor. • Let’s examine some real life examples.

34. -- Individual Avoids Repeating Past Wrong Actions which Attracts • When you reverse yourself and heed the advice of someone who you mistakenly wronged long ago in that same context, they suddenly come forward out of the blue and provide energy and benefit to a current undertaking. • Further Comment: It came out of a true story. I was going to copy some content from a friend's organizations' site to my site. I thought they would not mind, and the content would be invaluable to my readers. Then I read their security requirements, and realized I shouldn't. I also recalled that long ago I disseminated some info from that same person that slightly got him into trouble. With those two things now in mind, I removed the copied content from my site. As soon as I did, from out of the blue I noticed that he had come forward and contributed mightily to my new site, now the dominating entry there. It was an absolute miracle in my eyes! (By the way, this happened the other day, causing me to write the entry in the first place.)

35. --Avoiding Speaking Out Past Negatives Prevented them from Repeating • VERBALIZING NEGATIVES OF THE PASTOne of the more remarkable phenomena I have noticed (and experienced) over the years is that if you reminisce about a negative circumstance from the past, there is a good chance it will instantly start happening again! Therefore it is always best to avoid going down that road, and hold back speaking, feeling, and thinking about negative experiences from times gone by. • It was in fact that very approach that I practiced a week ago when on lin...e at the motor vehicle bureau for registering my drivers license. There was a bright fellow who was in line next to me who reminisced how bad things were at the DMV in decades past. However, I caught myself and did not pursue that line of thinking, knowing that if I did, the line would soon come to a screeching halt or related! So I held my tongue, and the rest of the activity continued on as it had before – very well!

36. --Life Repeats Examples - 1 An individual fulfilled a contract with a government agency, and waited to be paid. Instead of the usual two week or one month, it took two or three months for payment. It was due in part to the incompetence of one staffer, and in part to a difficult bureaucracy. A second contract was issued and fulfilled, and was likewise delayed, even though there was an attempt to smooth things out a bit. A year later the incompetent employee was replaced by a much better one for the deployment of yet another contract. Once again the situation remained the same; as there were a series of bumblings and other delays. Or to put it another way, life continued to repeat and bring ill-fortune; i.e. negative life response. Only if the individual who fulfilled the contact and issued the invoice crossed over a certain threshold of action to improve the situation would life stop repeating. -- The Ever-Repeating Life Response Act One of the principles of life is that acts tend to repeat. Once something occurs, it tends to happen over and over until there is an energy shift that changes conditions. The same holds true for life response. -- i.e. sudden good fortune. When that act is reengaged, there is not only a response, but one that matches previous instances of the act. I have already described several life responses that have occurred at the end of my meetings of a project management association held at Microsoft's regional headquarters in San Francisco. It seemed as if each time prizes were handed out, a life response occurred for me and others directly related. This time, they were giving out gifts, and out of several dozen people gathered there, I strikingly won the second prize. Well, for one it turned out to be the very same prize I won the last time! And second, it was the only prize of that type. And so when I received it, I stood up and asked others in the room who would want this very thick technical, blue book. A fellow right in front of me raised his hand, and I gave it to him. Then the third prize was handed out, and who should win it, but the very person I just handed my own winning book prize to! (To be honest, I was not at all surprised. And so now the fellow in front of me now had two books -- the blue one I gave him, and the orange one he just won. But then he turned around and decided to give me the orange one (!) (because he wanted to return the favor and/or because he felt obligated not to have two prizes in his possession.) I took it, but then I spontaneously stood up and turned to the group and surprised them (and myself) by again offering them the book I had in hand. (The reason being that I really had no serious need for it.) I then saw the person directly behind me raise his hand, and so I handed it off to him. And he and his partner were the people I earlier had an interesting conversation with on the very subject of this orange technical book. This all happened in less than a minute. Such cosmically wild and thoroughly energizing and entertaining experiences are not only indications that life repeats, but does so and includes the life response associated with that iteration of the act. In retrospect, the incident provided a new insight I had never perceived before; allowing me to take one additional small step in my life-long pursuit of understanding and evoking the miraculous-like phenomenon of life response. --Life Repeats for Apple Life repeats. Apple in 1984 came out with the Mac. People loved it, but it was slow due to lack of hard drive. Even an external hard drive was slow due to poor interface. Apple eventually added speed, but never got it to sell very quickly as the IBM and compatibles took off as world standard. The Mac OS was never seriously distributed for other vendors. Now Apple has released the IPhone, another sensation. Still it's major weak point was that it worked only on the slower network. Apple is about to release a faster version of the IPhone. Meanwhile a flood of touch screen, Smartphone models from other vendors are beginning to reach the market. Again Microsoft's inferior OS is behind many of the new Smartphones, though there are other OS as well. Apple is confronted with the same situation. Will they lease out the OS for the IPhone for others or get overwhelmed once again by a 'clone' market for Smartphones led by Microsoft and others. - (Ramesh) The main rule of life is: Events repeat at fixed intervals of time to fix a character for that event: I have seen this occurring in my / friends life in every movements, activities, purchases, promotions, writing, recognition, meetings more or less happening the same way. In my life I have seen it as: every month of May. I will be shifting a place office / house or renovating a place "how much ever I try to do it in different time. Similarly all progress comes to me in the month of August. Whenever I open an old quotation or tender document for reference-it will have, always to my wonder-the date, month, or specifications will be some way or other matching my today's question. Yesterday also when I get caught and fined for parking in 'no parking zone' though it is odd hours- coincidentally when I referred-the date I paid fine last time-I found it as June 2008 but different date. It is now taking me to the point of belief that life acts precisely as it plans and we need enormous strength to over come that even if we understand the 'life response' principle.

37. --Life Repeats Examples - 2 Life Repeating Negatively An individual has problem with her boss. She does not change, and therefore when she moves to another department, she has problems with that boss. Life repeats, as the underlying consciousness did not change. A man has problems in his life. He moves to another town seeking a fresh start. However, his nature does not change, and now through a new instrument, his problems of old repeat again. Life repeats because the consciousness did not change. -- Buying the very first property in his career, someone paid Rs. 5850/- for a property which had no bidders when auctioned for 1200/- because he wanted a property unencumbered. Eight years later this act exactly repeated its character when he bought a second property. He was alerted. Five years later when he bought his biggest property, no trace of earlier debts was there. His knowledge helped him to overcome the irresistible power of repetition of an act. Not only acts repeat. Names also repeat. The character of the act - rasi - repeats. Occasionally the exact spot repeats; the fixed hour repeats. Repetition is the character of physicality. The earlier one gets rid of it the better. (Karmayogi) Life's acts -- whether involving ourselves, others, or the world; whether positive, neutral, or negative -- repeat over and over again, until there is a countervailing force that alters the dynamic. Our part is limited to our acts. Our time is limited to our life. Our space is confined to where we live. We always have a choice - to choose the truth or aspects of the truth -it is leaving the part of the good for whole good. Till then life repeats so that we turn to that truth. We call that as knowledge. Mostly we are unaware of the acts repeating in one form or another. Occasionally it strikes us in our life, especially the second or third time. For example, till the age of 37, my qualification was school final (HSC) and proudly said that it is waste to study. Life repeated so many things several times to make me conclude that education is a necessity-and when I took that path-I got masters in management –and the life has returned all that I have lost so far. 38. --Overcoming Repetition through the Power of the Spiritual Force Sri Karmayogi describes one central principles of life is its tendency to repeat. He also indicates that such repetitions, particularly those of a negative kind, will cease when Man understands at a higher level; i.e. when he perceives something new that he did not know before relative to the issue at hand. Interestingly, there is a complementary method that can also achieve the same result and more. We can offer the situation to the spiritual Force, which will overcome the inertia to repeat, while attracting other powerful conditions. To illustrate what I mean, I would like to narrate the following remarkable experience I had the other day.   Every two or three years I meet with a friend of mine whom I have known for a quarter of a century. This is a person who I worked with many years ago and over time has become a successful software developer. As a result, he now lives in a prosperous community nearby with his family. Whenever we get together, we meet for lunch at a local restaurant in my town in the San Francisco Bay Area. Though the time for our meetings are normally 12 noon, I usually end up arriving just a touch early, sit at a table in the back, and face the front of the restaurant so I can wave him in my direction when he shows up. It turns out that every time we have our lunch get together, he arrives late -- usually 15-30 minutes. He then invariably apologizes profusely for his tardiness, since he is a well mannered individual and has a soft, winning nature.  For 25 years this pattern of lateness has repeated. On this particular occasion I arrived a few minutes early, and instead of entering the restaurant, I decided to sit in my car in the parking lot until 12 noon arrived. As I sat there remembering the many times I met my friend here in the past, I also recalled how he always arrived late. In fact, it had become something of an ongoing joke between us. This time however, I decided to take a very different approach. I therefore closed my eyes and concentrated myself, and then offered the entire matter up to the Divine Mother, hoping for the best. Well just as I was about to exit my car and enter the restaurant at 12, my cell phone rang. I saw that it was an incoming call from my friend. As I answered, I thought, "Here we go again! He's calling to tell me that he is delayed or that the meeting needed to be cancelled." He then proceeded to ask me if we were indeed supposed to meet today. "Oh boy, I thought, it's repeating once more." However, at the end of the short conversation, he said something startling. He told me that he was already in the restaurant, and was waiting for me at his table! Somewhat shocked by the development, I got out of the car. Then I began to joyously laugh to myself as I realized that he did not know I was a mere 10-20 yards away from him in the parking lot. (The wonders of modern cell phones!) I now realized that I would be surprising him with my sudden arrival, since he likely thought I had not yet left home. Now practically dancing into the diner, I saw my friend standing and waving to me in the back, and scampered over to take my seat at the table he reserved. When I sat down, I was filled with giddiness and awash in wonder. There were so many reasons! For one, it turned out that for the first time ever we were sitting on the exact opposite side of the restaurant we normally sat at. This struck me as very compelling. I also noticed that he was sitting at the opposite side of the table than before. That is, now he was facing front; where I always had that vantage point in the past. Add the fact that he had arrived on time after all of these years -- actually before me -- and it is no wonder that I was enthralled by the situation. It was obvious in that precious moment that life had completely turned around; both literally and figuratively. As I sat there in a state of wonder, I understood clearly why this had all happened. Because I opened to the spiritual Force, to the Divine Mother before entering the diner, years of inertia-based repetition had come to an end. That Power evoked the very best conditions for all concerned. There is one other interesting part to the story. After these developments, we then proceeded to have a fine meal and very stimulating conversation. In it my friend revealed that he had just gone through a very trying episode, where he was caught in a great blizzard in New York City. He then described to me in great detail the unbelievable difficulties he encountered in dealing with the wicked weather. How he had been forced into going places and using modes of public transpiration he was unfamiliar with as the weather created havoc with the situation. How he was forced to go to three different hospitals during those days to deal with three different family members who had suddenly taken ill. And so forth for the remainder of the time he was trapped in the city and could not make it back to California. But what was really startling to me was that all of his adventures took place in the precise area of the city where I grew up; places and things I had not thought of in over 40 years since moving to California back then. In fact, he had practically retraced every haunt, transpiration method (bus, subway, and taxi), and station I used to make my way back and forth to Manhattan as a youth.  It was too much to believe to discover that out of a thousand locales in that gigantic metro area, my friend had been moving about in the very specific ones that I did in my youth. The precise bus; the precise train, the precise destination train station; even the precise neighborhood where I lived. It was a million to one shot that this could happen. And yet I knew that the miraculous coincidence he was narrating was but another result of my earlier effort at consecrating his previous lateness. After narrating his gripping story, my friend revealed that he was considering writing a book on the subject, which would not only include the great adventure he just narrated, but related subjects on human trust and fear that he has observed for decades in the American landscape. Now after suggesting this possibility, his face became bright in a way I had not seen in years, if ever before. In fact, for the first time in decades, I sensed that he had a new purpose and direction in life. As we see, when life repeats in the negative, we can overcome that repetition by taking to a new, higher understanding. My friend must have done just that, as he finally arrived at his appointment on time. From my side, I also saw that by evoking the Spiritual Force, I was able to attract a plethora of astonishing conditions, including the overcoming of the poor habit of my friend, as well as a number of other circumstances that bordered on the miraculous. It reminded me once again of how opening to the Spirit can have an immediate and vast impact on the Character of Life.

39. Initial Indicated Final Outcome • The ultimate outcomes of a project, work, circumstance, etc. can be seen at the very beginning. At the outset of a related chain of conditions there are acts that are indicators of the final outcome of that life flow, whether a project in a business, a home purchase, even a marriage. • Mother's Service Society researchers including myself have traced many instances of this startling phenomenon. E.g. in Pride and Prejudice Mrs. Bennet announced at the very beginning the arrival of two young, handsome, very rich, eligible bachelors, which is in fact what happens at the very end, when they marry two of her own daughters, sending her middle class family to the heights of wealth and social status. • What good are such perceptions? It can help you anticipate, if not predict the future (the final outcome). A crime investigator, or a doctor, or a businessperson with that subtle sense can make decisions and take actions that abridge space and time through that knowledge; by either moving in the opposite direction of a negative event up front in that chain, or reinforcing any positives that arose at the outset. Developing a Subtle Sense to see that will facilitate the process; i.e. paying attention to the flow of life; as will an ability to make the correspondence between the outer conditions and one's own attitudes, motives, beliefs, decisions and actions. • Thus through this startling phenomenon of Life, you can become Its complete Master. It is thus an ultimate Life Response power. • Sri Karmayogi indicates that if you want perfect success at the end, trace its path to its earliest beginnings. All those events will be of the same character; with the same motive, attitude, opinion, etc. of the individual precipitating them. Once identified, withdraw the negatives that created the wanting outcomes at the start and presently, and reinforce the positive ones. Life will respond overwhelmingly in your favor. • You can also make that change at the very beginning, by catching the smallest or largest negative that appears. You can readily identify these by seeing the correspondence between the inner you and the outer conditions. Taking this approach at the outset will change the course of life relative to those circumstance. It's a way of insuring perfection in the outcome; avoiding considerable effort and the meanderings of life. In other words, it creates the greatest efficiency of space and time.

Everything Is Announced Beforehand One extremely fascinating phenomenon of life is that every major (and minor) problem or disaster is announced beforehand; before the actual problematic event occurs. E.g. yesterday I opened my IPhone and was requested to update two apps; one being the KGO radio app. Since this occurs fairly often, I took no notice. But then as I looked at the KGO icon for the app something get telling me to give it attention, including uploading the app. I gave it some heed since the station often announces important occurrences in the community, and maybe I thought something critical might occur soon. Still I moved on. The next morning I was rudely awakened to the sound of one or more extremely loud helicopters right over my residence. This happens once every several years for a few moments, but then the copters would fly off. This time the copters hovered right over the area for several hours straight (!), and I knew something serious was occurring, perhaps a police emergency or a problem on the nearby highway. I then recalled my KGO app that was “urging me” to download it the day before. And so I now grabbed my phone and uploaded it. Immediately I opened it up, and the radio announcer began announcing the traffic report in the San Francisco Bay Area. The very first thing he mentioned was my small town’s name and indicated that a multi-car carrier truck had caught fire not too far from my home on the highway, backing up traffic for miles during the busy morning commute. The KGO app had in essence announced the event the day before when it sat there on my phone “insisting” that I download it. Every major and minor event in our lives has this quality. Just as an examples; thousands of people around the world had this premonitory experience through certain details in their lives before 9/11, each in their very unique way. This phenomenon is occurring to us all of the time, but is too subtle for the average person to perceive it. However, those with a developed consciousness, who take notice, we see that it is occurring all of the time. Which leads to one last point: If we consecrate the portent, offering it to the spiritual Force, then we can prevent the negative outcome that it is pointing to from ever happening.

41. Trying to Ascend to Next Level

42. --Trying To Move To Next Level Example • Challenge of Moving To the Next Level • If you want to move to the next level, which let’s say is a much higher than the current one, then best to make sure that all is well at the lower plane. Let’s say you see the opportunity for a big deal involving several parties which you are responsible for organizing. That deal would establish a great new organization of which you too would significantly profit. However, if among the partners you have in the past felt resentment or there are any other untoward feelings or forms of unresolved business, then the larger deal will not come together. • Therefore all needs to be harmonic, resolved, perfected, etc. at the current plane of any matter in order for one to move to a significantly higher level. Psychological reversals of wanting attitudes and beliefs can make all the difference, meaning that this is a great opportunity to rise in consciousness and thereby meet the opportunity.

43. --Rising to Next level Brings Out Limitations that Can Be Overcome, and Thereby Attract “When you try to move to a higher plane of accomplishment and success, your weak points will be revealed. In Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austin, Mrs. Bennet the mother of 5 daughters wants them married off to prosperous men so her and her family's status and wealth can improve. However her own obnoxious, churlish nature and her meddling actions deflect, block every chance of that reality happening. Likewise Mr. Darcy is in love with Eliza, the eldest Bennet daughter, but in trying to win her, all his normal worst characteristics come out, including his pride and arrogance. Yet incredibly he changes his nature, overcoming his negative attitudes. and life rewards him with Eliza's love and their marriage. The same phenomenon can be seen in business, politics, individual nations, etc.

44. Opposition Rising to the New

45. --When a New Positive Force Rises, an Opposition Does As Well • When you try to establish the next highest level of consciousness for yourself or the world, there will normally rise a force in opposition that will try to destroy it. Learning how to navigate your way through this opposition by dissolving its power from within or making use of its force for your advantage will enable you to rise to that desired next level of being. • Example: A small group of individuals in an organization quietly tried to raise the body's level of consciousness, knowledge, aspiration, etc. Over time there was an extreme opposition from a regressive force which sought to block the party who wished to implement the new. Court cases and the like followed. Yet because of the calm of the higher party, people in the organization became more aware of them and their progressive ideas. In fact, they were soon voted to head the entire august organization, implementing many if their values! In essence, the negative force rose up to block the positive, but the higher party carefully utilized the events perpetrated by the negative side to rise to the very top.

46. Anachronistic Forces Against Progressive Forces • In life there are often leading edge, forces-for-progress individuals partaking in events, as well as trailing-edge, regressive ones. One interesting life principle is that life often responds negatively to individuals who assert their anachronistic tendencies when the currents of life are moving in another direction. • We see in the film the true life events about the race horse in Seabiscuit. There at one point in the story, we see the effects of the actions of the trailing edge figure of the eastern owner of the horse War Admiral. In response to the request from the owner of the underdog Seabiscuit for a race between the two horses, the Eastern US owner responds that it is absurd to have the race because of his horse's obvious superiority in terms of speed and breeding. He then goes a step further and mocks the entire Western horseracing scene. The end result of his reactionary taunts is that he is humiliated when his horse loses to the underdog Seabiscuit before a national audience. • When trailing edge figures act in conditions where positive, progressive forces are emerging, their actions at critical points tend to work against them.

47. Energies of Surrounding Atmosphere Determines • An interesting principle of life is that when the outer atmosphere surrounding a work or endeavor is positive, life tends to cooperate with one’s efforts. On the other hand, if it is negative, it tends to block or delay results. • For example, in a famous race in US history, the owner of an underdog horse was able to rally a good proportion of the nation to his side. That created a very positive atmosphere that enables him to win the race against its arch rival. • If we examine any circumstance around an even we can gauge the surrounding atmosphere. If it is positive, it will support the successful outcome of events. If it is negative, it will retard it. For example, in the Shakespeare play Othello, the atmosphere was so negative that a small handkerchief revealed a bit of information that led to the death of the principles. • The best conditions for success occurs when both the person and the outer condition are both positive. On the other hand, if both are wanting, then no matter what one does, life will not cooperate, and the outcome is likely to fail.
