Zydus School For Excellence Ahmedabad Circular No : 35/2014-15/class I-IX ( participants’ only) Date : August 12, 2014 Dear Parent, Subject:- Instruction for Annual Day This is with the reference of the circular no.21/2014-15/class I –IX regarding the Annual Day celebration to be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Important points to be noted:- A dress rehearsal will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 and dry run on Friday, August 22, 2014 at “Tagore Hall”, Jamalpur Bridge, Paldi from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Students will be picked up from their regular pick up points & will be dropped off at their regular drop points. No canteen facility will be provided on these days. School will remain closed on all three days- August 20, August 22 & August 23, 2014 for non -participants. Thursday, August 21, 2014 will be a regular working day. The Annual Day costumes will be handed over to students on Tuesday, August 19, 2014. Please note that the children have to come in the costume on August 20, 2014 for dress rehearsals and on August 23,2014 on the Annual Day. On Friday August 22, 2014 students have to come in their regular uniforms for the dry run. Parents are requested to send back their ward’s costume on Monday, August 25, 2014 without fail after the Annual Day function.
Important points to be noted for “Annual Day Function” (Saturday, August 23, 2014) The Annual Day Function will be held in two shifts :- I Session :- 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm. (Performance by students of Grade I to V) II Session :- 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm (Performance by Students of Grade VI to X) For the students from Grade I to V, reporting time will be 12:00 noon at “Tagore Hall”, Jamalpur Bridge, Paldi. For the students from Grade VI to X reporting time will be 3:00 pm at “Tagore Hall”, Jamalpur Bridge, Paldi. Bus facility will be provided only for pick up. Your wards will be picked up from regular pickup point. . All the participants must come dressed in their costumes and full makeup. Kindly ensure that your ward is well dressed. Only touch up will be done at the venue. Refreshments will be served to all the participants. Kindly send only a water bottle along with your child. Medical Attendant/Nurse will be available for all the three days in case of any emergency. After the function students will leave with their parents. School encourages all parents to pick up their wards themselves. Children will be handed over to the parents only when the show is over. Instead they must report directly to the venue, Tagore Hall, Jamalpur Bridge, Paldi for the Annual Day & its rehearsals.
