Methodology • 120 IT Network Managers interviewed (6/01-7/01) • 40 interviews in each of Europe, Asia and US • 50-50 interview split between large (1000+) companies and medium-size (200-1000) by no. of employees • 25% of respondents had a WLAN installed
Key Findings • Most respondents had heard of Bluetooth technology • Awareness was highest in Europe and lowest in US • Two thirds of respondents described Bluetooth as a Wireless LAN • Security is the biggest issue corporate end-users have with the technology. Cost is not a significant issue • Flexibility and Convenience and the key benefits of the technology
