Possible Controls Complex Simple
Filter the albums that show in grid view or ‘rollodex’ view • On the screen, use the same search field to filter as always. • On the remote, there has to have a way of alphabetically choosing “album” “artist” or “genre”, since there is no keyboard.
Change the size of the albums in grid view • On the screen, use an iPhoto slider to change the size. • On the remote, choose a button to ‘step’ discretely up and down the grid size.
Go to the next ‘page’ in grid view • On the screen, there will have to be a >>| button and a |<< button, as is currently shown in the lower right corner below. • On the complex remote, these buttons exist.
‘Flip’ over the album to ‘see’ the back cover • On the screen, right click and have a keyboard shortcut. On the remote, choose a button.
Back Cover Front Cover
Click to see the song list in the album, and then select which song to play or to add to a playlist. • On the screen, right click and keyboard shortcut. • On the remote, choose a button, then up and down arrows scroll the list.
Use ‘rollodex’ view as a way of showing previous album played, current album playing, and next album in the queue • On the screen, have a button and keyboard shortcut that sends you to this ‘screensaver’ type mode. On the remote, choose a button.
