As time changes the uses of things are also changes like for thousands of years, Aloe Vera Plant is used for medicinal or fat reduce or digestive health or lower blood sugar etc uses, But now things are changed People are doing innovative things. People are now using Aloe Vera for food and vegetables, and it is very sweet and tasty. I had always heard of Aloe Vera being had in the form of a juice, or the gel being used as facial mask or etc, so I tried making an Aloe Vera ki Sabzi or vegetable out of it, and I must say I was very surprised on how good the results turned out to be! In India, Aloe Vera is also known as a Gwarpatha , Kwar Gandal and Ghrit kumari. This is very surprising that Aloe Vera plant can be used for food recipe and its taste was delicious.By the use of Aloe Vera we can make Ladoos, Halwa and so on from this healthy dishes. There are so many types of Aloe Vera available.But all are not edible or some are not in good taste or bitter in taste . So it is not advisable to consume these Aloe Vera and it harms you body. Sweet variety of Aloe Vera is dark and bright in color have less thorns and have shiny transparent gel inside. It is one of the most traditional Rajasthani dishes which keeps you healthy as well as delighted with its taste and aroma. Use sweet variety of Aloe Vera ki sabzi /curry/vegetables. How to make Aloe Vera Vegetable/ Aloe Vera ki Sabzi INGREDIENTS:
● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● ● 350 grams Aloe Vera Leaves (4 cup chopped) 3 tablespoon Raisins / Kishmish 1 teaspoon Salt / Namak 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder / Haldi Powder 1 teaspoon Red Chilli powder / Laal mirch powder 3/4 teaspoon Mango Powder / Amchoor Powder 3 tablespoon Cooking Oil 1/2 teaspoon Cumin Seeds / Sabut Jeera 1/4 teaspoon Asafoetida / Hing powder 1/2 teaspoon Sugar / Chini 1.5 tablespoon Yogurt / Dah INSTRUCTION: 1.Take some thick fresh leaves of Aloe Vera and Thoroughly wash Aloe Vera leaves and wash them well. 2.Then make small or medium cuts from it. 3.Now take two tea cups of water in a vessel and place it on flame for heating. 4.Add half teaspoon salt and add some turmeric powder.
5.After above process, water starts boiling add Aloe Vera and chunks into it and allow it to simmer for 7 to 8 minutes. 6.Turn off the flame and chunks out from water. 7.Wash these chunks twice or thrice thoroughly .Aloe Vera in water can remove bitterness. 8. Heat some oil in a pan. When oil is hot, add cumin seeds and let them splutter. 9.Then add turmeric powder, coriander powder and green chilly into it and sauté on low flame. 10.Add Aloe Vera chunks in the spices and stir well. 11.Add salt, fennel powder and mango powder into it and mix the ingredients constantly until the Aloe Vera chunks are coated well with the spices. 12.Cook for 4 to 5 minutes so that the Aloe Vera chunks are well coated with the spices. Aloe Vera sabzi is ready. Take it out on a plate. REMEMBER: There are so many types of Aloe Vera in a market .Pick the right one for eating and choose Aloe Vera that are less bitter in taste. don't take randomly it may harm or may occur some severe side effects.Use sweet variety of Aloe Vera that are edible. Avoid giving Aloe Vera sabzi to pregnant lady it can harm.
