  2. Gand Mool Nakshatra The Gand Mool Nakshatra is one of the 27 Nakshatras that is ruled by Ketu and Mercury. Presence of Nakshatra in kundli affects the life journey in both positive and negative ways. In Gand Mool Nakshatra, ‘Gand’ or ‘Gant’ or ‘Gandu’ in Sanskrit means Knot or joints and ‘Mool’ means root. So, if there is Gand Mool Dosha in kundli, this means that two Rashis and two Nakshatras are meeting in the Kundli at the same time.

Gand Mool Nakshatra Shanti Pujahis puja is done in a specific way on the 27th day of the child’s birth including various rituals and jaap for 10 to 12 hours. Puja is performed by: • The pandits prepare a Gand Mool Dosha Homam or Havan Kund to initiate the puja • The Gand Mool Nakshatra Shanti Puja is usually initiated by 2 pandits with a Sankalp followed by Gauri Ganesha Aarti.
