Introduction „Labour market – comprises the whole of issues related with thedevelopment of labour supply and labour demand, labour market is the place where transactions of labour purchase, i.e. hiring employees, and labour sales take place. The demand is represented by employers offering job positions, while thesupply is represented by those who are seeking employment.”

  4. Introduction It is beyond doubt that recent decades have contributed to the occurrence of changes on the labour market. Contemporarily, it is shaped by such factors as: • globalisation, • increase of the significance of the service sector • changing systems of values • increase of the significance of self-employment • dynamic development of technology

  5. Introduction In this context, special attention is needed for the functioning of workers adaptation in the labour market, inter alia, in terms of driving adequate education programmes. This is especially true for people who could be at risk of exclusion from the labour market from the point of view of my research – unemployed women in rural areas.

  7. Aim of the research Analysis of self-perception of women from the study group in terms of the perception of their own education and qualifications as attractive to a potential employer. Analysis of the level of stress by respondents in terms of their educational situation. Sense of coherence of women in the context of the educational situation.

  8. Characteristics of the group:living area T The study involved 30 women, residing in villages belonging to the Głowno municipality.

  9. Characteristics of the group:age The average age of women is 47.5. The youngest was 24.0 years old, the oldest 57.0. Women were registered as unemployed in Labour Office in Głowno and took part in the study from January to May 2013.

Salutogenesis “Global orientation that expresses the extent to which one hasa pervasive, enduring though dynamic feeling of confidence that the stimuli deriving from one's internal and external environments in the course of living are structured, predictable and explicable, the resources are available to one to meet the demands posed by these stimuli; and these demands are challenges, worthy of investment and engagement.”

Strelau , P. Szczepaniak and M. Śliwińska (1998). - Questionnaire to analyze the perception of self-image in the labour market
