IFAD9 Consultation Report: basic features Guiding reference: Resolution on the Establishment of the Consultation on the Ninth Replenishment of IFAD’s Resources approved by the GC in February 2011 • Ownership: Members of the IFAD9 Consultation • Approval: IFAD Governing Council (at its 35th session on 22-23 February 2012) • Function: Summarizes results of IFAD9 Consultation deliberations and presents recommendations for approval by the Governing Council (at its 35th session on 22-23 February 2012)

Key components of the IFAD9 Consultation Report • Main report • Summary of IFAD9 Consultation deliberations (strategic directions, priorities, reforms, POLG, financing requirements and donor contribution targets for IFAD9) • Main annexes: • IFAD9 commitment matrix (specific time-bound actions and deliverables to be implemented) • RMF for IFAD9 (development and organizational performance indicators and targets for 2015) • IFAD9 Resolution (legal instrument laying out interalia, the targets and process for additional contributions)

  4. Timeline for review, finalization and approval of the IFAD9 Consultation Report

Guidance requested at 3rd session of IFAD9 Consultation • Structure and content of the draft IFAD9 Consultation report shared with members • Critical points to be included in the report from deliberations on intersessional, efficiency, SSC, and RMF papers • Specific actions/deliverables (with time-frames) to be included in the Commitment Matrix • Timeline for review/finalization of the IFAD9 Consultation report
