  2. Purpose • To work with the Teen City Staff and the Rochester city school youth • Continuing to broaden and develop the entrepreneurship “Smiley Snacks”

  3. Goals • To develop new flavors of smiley snacks • Use the Gannett Grant to provide the YMCA with the materials needed to maintain a supply for future sales • Develop advertising plans: Business Cards and Commercial planning

  4. Smiley Snacks • 3 Flavors - Tangled Up in Blue - Banana Rama - Bear Paw Trail Mix

Tangled Up In Blue(Blueberry Frosted Mini Wheats, Special K Blueberry Cereal, Granola with Blueberries)$1.50 • Bear Paw Trail Mix • *CONTAINS NUTS* • (Special K Low Fat Granola, Wheat Chex Cereal, Peanuts, Raisins, Mini Chocolate Chips) • $1.50 Banana Rama (Dried Banana Chips, Special K Low Fat Granola, Wheat Chex Cereal, Raisins, Mini Chocolate Chips) $1.50

  6. Commercial Plans • The idea was to create a commercial to promote the snacks • The kids divided into groups to write scripts • In the end we all go together to write an official script using all the ideas • Many commercials were made

  8. Shopping List • Generic Granola: 30 boxes or bags • 10 pounds of raisins • 10 pounds of chocolate chips • 10 pounds of banana chips • 12 to 15 boxes of Blueberry Mini Wheat • 12 to 15 boxes of Blueberry Special K • Dried Blueberries • 20 Boxes Chex Cereal
