Most of Russia has long, cold winters and short mild summers. Subarctic- cool humid summers, with long cold winters, ½ the land covered in snow for 6 months, the other ½ has permafrost. Tundra- gets as low as -90degrees F. Deserts get as hot as 120 degrees. Climate
