Sanctity vs quality of life • Starter – Using p18, note down key definition of sanctity of life and quality of life. • Extension – place the scenarios underneath with either quality or sanctity of life. • Homework – Explain the difference and conflict between sanctity and quality of life, using examples. • Learning Objectives:- • To consider the concepts of sanctity of life and quality of life. • To reflect on the importance of sanctity of life and discuss the implications of it. • In the light of this understanding to reflect on which they see as more important and why.

2. 12 people will have discussion topics relating to a different aspect of sanctity of life. The other class members will turn and face them. At each station, each person has 30 seconds to explain their view, then the inside ring will rotate to the right.
