According to the U.S. Bureau of Statistics, STEM jobs are predicted to grow twice as quickly as jobs in other fields over the next five years 80% of jobs in the next decade will require technical skills The US will have over 1 million job openings in STEM-related fields by 2018

  3. Requirements of the FUHS STEM Academy include: *Completion of one of the chosen STEM pathways *Attend STEM Club meetings *Participation in the specified number of STEM workshops *Completion of a job shadow or internship
