Types of Torque Meters • Rotating • Used in dynamometers or other places with constant rotation. • Non-rotating • Used mostly for reactionary torque measurements where the part being measured doesn’t constantly rotate.
Styles of Torque Meters • Analog • Often a calibrated spring and a dial readout • Data collection is done by writing down the values received • Digital • A transducer of some sort that sends a signal to a display. • Data can be stored and sent electronically
