strengthen our quality management and assessment practice Targeted quality reviews of survey programs Focus on quality of released data – reduce number of data reloads number of quality indicators have been developed – both at the aggregate level and at the survey program level Provide guidance setting priorities – based on QAF dimensions – relevance, quality and efficiency – composite indicator Improving our quality reporting
StatCan redeveloped its performance indicators including quality of outputs based on the dimensions of QAF- accessibility, relevance and accuracy also, organizational efficiency indicators (i.e., use of admin data, reduction of response burden) Aggregate indicators are not linked to nor reported at survey level in our corporate metadatabase - IMDB Aggregate indicators
StatCan’s Quality Assurance Framework relates to Quality Management in the GSBPM GSBPM used to review the quality assurance of selected survey programs GSPBM used to identify sub-processes that have a greater risk of errors in quality Detailed quality indicators and good practices were revised in StatCan’s Quality Guidelines which also refers to the GSBPM Detailed indicators
