Informal Letter • Letter to a close friend or any relative
Standard Format • Write your address on the top left side of the page; • Under the address (on left side), write date – use word like October instead of 10; • Leave one space and then write Salutation on the left followed by the name of receiver, e.g. – Hi Rahul/ Dear father; • Write introduction, main body and conclusion/closing • End the letter with words like With love/ All Best/Your’s loving/Best Regards followed by your name on the bottom left side OR simply write your name • Word limit – 150-180 words (sometimes even more depends on the context)
