Centrally Sponsored scheme for Vermiculture / Vermi compost production : 2000-2004 • Vermicomposting - a farmer friendly technique • Farmers trainings being organized at block level through NGOs, KVKs & government institutions. • Vermicomposting units being set up by way of subsidy @ Rs.1000/-unit. • Vermiculture centres being set up by way of subsidy @ Rs.25,000/- unit
