Basic Elements of Project • Design, engineer, manufacture/fabricate, and deliver bus shelter to site • Manufacture the pan formed metal artwork inserts per the three (3) designs provided by City; • Provide full signed and sealed engineering drawings by a registered engineer in the state of Florida for both the bus shelter and the required foundation • Deliver Bus shelter to City within 10 miles of the following address; 10500 N Military Trail Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. 33408 • Supply all installation and construction manuals and other required technical data. • Supply all required warranty information • Optional Solar panel and light • Bidder is not installing bus shelter
Design Requirements • The roof shall be standing seam metal hip with 6” fascia panel and a 24” soffit panel or approved equal. • The glass panels shall be ¼” clear tempered safety glass or approved equal. • All metal components of the shelter construction shall be powdered coated (color to be determined by City). • All framing shall be aluminum tubing with sufficient size to meet the Florida Building Code requirement for wind load with the City of Palm Beach Gardens. • An alternate bid item for solar lighting shall be provided inside the shelter with a photo cell and/or motion detector options. Battery size sufficient to run the light a minimum of 6 hours without sunlight. • All components of the shelter must be weather and vandal resistant.
Size of Proposed Shelters 2’ Overhang A 10-foot long by 5 foot wide by 8 foot tall shelter must have an 18" deep bench seat at each end, and a minimum of 2 foot roof over hang on all sides.
