  4. halFILE 3.0 Proximity Search • New feature of the halFILE Search Module • Requires SQL Server 2000 or later with Full Text Indexing turned on for the appropriate database fields • “Proximity” means each word in the search criteria for a field is in the same proximity in the database field

  5. halFILE 3.0 Proximity Search For example: If you search a name field for John Doe, you will find docs where the name field contains: Doe, John Doe, Robert John John Alan Doe The John Doe Trust
