Missing Et in Z Candidates • Z Candidate Selection • ReReco with 10.08.01 • Results without NADA • Results with NADA • Summary Tom Diehl Nov 15th, 2001
Data & Event Selection • Data Sample: Root-tuples from t1.56 & p10.04 • Selection Criteria (2 of ): • ET(EM)>12.5 GeV • Not ( Emfrac=1 & Iso=0) • -0.05 < isol < 0.2 • 1.05 > Emfrac > 0.9 • H(41)<200 • Ratio (EfineHad/ETot) < 0.01 • Picked the raw data (123 events) stored at /usrdisks/714/fnal_3/diehl/run2/wze*/zcandidates/*.raw
Reco 10.08.01 (No Nada) • MET is clumpy vs. Run Number • Later runs have lots less MET
Reco 10.08.01 (No Nada) • SUM ET is clumpy vs. Run #, too. • Later runs have lots less SET
Reco 10.08.01 (No Nada) • MET Details
Reco 10.08.01 (Yes Nada) • Still clumpy w/ run number almost exactly the same values. Sum ET also.
Reco 10.08.01 (Yes Nada) • MET details
Muon Corrected MET • Some people are working to hustle it into existance.
Summary • Looking at Z->ee candidates • Good News • There doesn’t seem to be significant damage on this data • Bad News • There doesn’t seem to be significant improvement to this data • Main Improvement seems to be polish applied directly from the control room and on detector.
