ZI Foundation Mission The purpose of Zonta International Foundation is to support the approved charitable and educational programs of Zonta International through effective fund raising, investment of funds and the distribution of proceeds. Through the financial support of Zonta International’s programs, the Foundation becomes the catalyst for greater understanding and service to women throughout the world.

  6. ZONTA INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION • Board of Directors is the same as ZI • Receive gifts and donations • Disburse funds • Report Annually to ZI • Committees • Finance and Audit Committee • Development Committee

  7. 2008-2010 Goals • Total (excluding the Endowment Fund) • US$4,020,000 • International Service Fund 1,600,000 • ZISVAW Fund 600,000 • Amelia Earhart Fellowship Fund 650,000 • Jane M. Klausman Women in Business Scholarship Fund 150,000 • Young Women in Public Affairs Award Fund 190,000 • Rose Fund 800,000

  8. Districts Purpose is to: • Function as an administrative division of ZI to assist in obtaining objectives • Promote the programs of ZI • Inspire and assist clubs • Serve as link between the clubs and the ZI Board and Committees

  9. Clubs • Composed of classified members, Past ZI Presidents, and honorary members. • Officers shall be at least a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and 2 Directors. • Committee structure • Where the REAL action takes place!

  10. Getting the Most from Your Investment • Register on the [NEW] ZI website and use it • Know the bylaws, procedures and policies • Discuss proposed resolutions, activities, bylaws changes as a club • Volunteer to serve on a District Committee • Go to Area meetings, District Conferences, and Convention • Donate and fundraise for ZI Foundation • Cheer on your fellow Team Members
