  2. Viking • Vikings had swift wooden ships equipped with sails and oars • Vikings mainly fought on foot with spears, swords, and battle-axes • The spear was their most common weapon made of a iron blade and a wooden shaft • The sword was very costly to make but a sign of high status

  3. Viking • The Viking shields was made of wood boards and had a central hole for a hand grip made of iron • The helmets were usually wore by the men leading into battle

  4. Knight • The knight had multiple layers of armor and could plow through foot soldier • You had to be a noble son to become a knight because it was extremely expensive

  5. Knight • The knights main weapon was his sword and it weighted around thirty two pounds • They also used a mace with a wooden handle and a small dagger

Timeline • 1106, Henry the first defeats his brother Rob, the duke of Normandy a the battle of Tincherai • 1192, Richard the First son of Henry the second, got captured by his enemy, Duke Leopold of Austria • 1264, Simon De Montfort and other English baron defeat Henry the third at the battle of Lewes
