Build the Baseline • Review baseline information from the online survey: • Institutions and Organizations • List the education and workforce entities operating in the region, K-12, higher education, training centers, etc. • Specialty Infrastructure • Unique or technical equipment, facilities or infrastructure that supports education or workforce development programs • Unique or Concentrated Knowledge/Specialization • Unique or focused technical or subject matter expertise related to education or workforce development
Build the Baseline, cont. • Excellence or High Performing • Entities that are best in class with a history & reputation of accomplishment and impact • Skills or Vocational Development • Entities that focus on occupational skills development and career advancement • Higher Education • Institutions in the region that provide higher education, bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees • Top 10 degrees by graduates and/or recognition • Innovative Activities • Individuals or entities that are doing innovative or cutting edge approaches to education and workforce development
