Production and value addition outcome statement By 2020, production systems in agriculture, manufacturing, extractive industry and tourism sector are market oriented efficient, competitive, transparent, climate resilient, environmentally friendly, gender responsive and green technology driven providing jobs with increased local and national content.
Outcome theme statement: Infrastructure By 2020, Uganda’s stock of infrastructure adheres to physical planning policies and standards, is resilient to climate change, responsive to the environment, social and gender considerations.
Trade By 2020, Trade is more formalized, competitive, scalable, inclusive, regionally integrated, ICT-enabled and supportive to MSMEs with improved corporate governanceas a result of an improved regulatory framework and increased market integration.
Outcome: Employment An expanded labour market with decent jobs, equal participation of women and youth, which promotes entrepreneurship and is responsive to the national, regional and international labour market by 2020.
