  1. Adadiyapak is a traditional Gujarati desert, which is prepared during winters. • This famous dish is loaded with numerous health benefits like improves immunity, prevents back pain, joint pain, etc., and keeps you warm on chilly days. • Adadiyapak is made with lots of spices, dry fruits, ghee along with black gram flour. • All these combines make this very nutritional and healthy to be consumed, especially during the winter season. • It is also believed by our ancestors, that if you consume Adadiyapak daily in winter, it will keep you healthy for the whole year. • So, make this delicious and healthy sweet at home and enjoy its benefits the whole year.

  2. Here's the step-by-step process to make Adadiyapak:

Adadiya Pak Masala • 10g Cardamom (Elaichi) • 10g Saffron (Kesar) • 25g Dry Ginger Powder (Sonth Powder) • 25g Peepramul Powder (Ganthoda) • 5g Black Pepper • 5g Cinnamon (Dalchini) • 5g Clove (Loung) • 5g Nutmeg (Jaiphal) • Roast all the spices on a slow flame for about 5 minutes and then let them cool. • Once they are cool, grind them into a fine powder. • Now keep it aside for later use.

Adadiya Pak • 150g Edible Gum (Gund) • 1 cup Black Gram Flour • 1 cup Mawa • 1 cup Milk • 1 cup Ghee • 1 ½ cups Sugar  • ¼ cup Crushed Dried Coconut • ¼ cup Dry Fruit Powder • Fry edible gum (gund) in ghee & then crush it. • Mix ghee & milk to urad dal kaaata and let it sit for two hours. After that, pass the flour through the sieve • Now take 1 cup of ghee and add the flour & mawa, let it cook on low flame for 20-30 minutes until it becomes brown. • Now add crushed dried coconut , fried gung, Adadiya Pak masala & dry fruit powder , mix well. • Now turn off the stove. • In the kadhai, take 1 cup of water and prepare 1 thread sugar syrup. • Once the sugar is melt, pour it into the previously prepared mixture.

  5. For Assembling: • Almonds Finely Chopped • Pistachio Finely Chopped • Take a platter (parat) and grease it well with ghee. • Now pour the mixture into it and flatten it using a flat-bottom bowl. • Decorate it with finely diced almonds and pistachio. • Now cover it with a thin cloth and let it become firm. • Once it is cooled and firmed, cut it into square or diamond shapes.
