  1. Types of Containerization in DevOps.

  2. 1 Docker Docker is a platform that's open-source that allows programmers to automatically install and scale apps inside of small, isolated containers.

  3. 2 Kubernetes a platform for open-source container orchestration that manages, grows, and deploys containerized applications across clusters of hosts.

  4. 3 Podman a Docker substitute container engine that offers a more secure and lightweight container runtime by enabling users to manage and run containers without the need for a separate daemon.

  5. 4 LXC/LXD Multiple separated Linux systems (containers) can run on a single host thanks to the Linux-based technologies LXC (Linux Containers) and LXD (Linux Container Daemon), which provide operating system-level virtualization.

  6. 5 OpenShift a Kubernetes-based container platform with additional features including built-in security and developer tools that offers a comprehensive environment for creating, deploying, and managing containerized applications.
