Observations vs. Inferences
Observation (define in your notes) • Using one or more of the 5 senses to gather information • A noting and recording of…. FACTS!!! • It’s done during data collection.
Inferences • Logical interpretation based upon prior knowledge and experience. • Inferences are made during a conclusion.
