WSHS DATA Related to High School Redesign • 2007-Seven Academic Endorsements • 2008-Fourteen Academic Endorsements Fourteen Career/Technical Endorsements • 2007-2008 Ninth Grade • 88% (2007-72%)of 9th grade promoted • 6% (2007-10%)dropout rate • 81% (2007-63%) scored basic or above on ELA • 78% (2007-69%) scored basic or above on math • 2007-2008 Credit Recovery • 86 participants • 1 senior recovered credit for graduation • Students earned 26.5 total credits

Academic Endorsements • TOPS Core Curriculum • All students are scheduled for TOPS requirements. • Parental sign-off is required before students are allowed to drop class if close. • Advisories encourage academic achievement in a challenging curriculum. • Ninth grade mentors meet with ninth grade advisories weekly. • 2.5 Core GPA • Students who are close to GPA are rescheduled for core classes. • LEADS Reports are distributed regularly in order that students have latest data. • Rewards are given for student achievement.
