She rides on a Tiger; there is a bell shaped crescent on the mother's head which gave her the name GoddessChandraghanta. She has ten hands, each hand has different weapons. She protects against demonic forces.According to Hindu mythology, Devi Chandraghanta is the Goddess of spirituality and internal strength. DeviChandraghanta is also known asChandrakhanda, Chandika or Rannchandi. This form ofDevi Chandraghnata is peaceful and welfare.
