A reflexive pronoun refers to the subject and directs the action of the verb back to the subject. • The winners considered themselves lucky. • How do you prepare yourself for a game? An intensive pronoun emphasizes the noun or pronoun in the same sentence. • I myself just keep saying, “We’ll win!” • The players themselves designed their uniforms. Some very important information all writers need to remember! • Hisself and theirselves may look like real words, but they cannot be found in any dictionary. • Look for them yourself and see if you can find them. • You should use himself and themselves instead. Yata….Yata….Yata
Directions: Identify the reflexive or intensive pronoun in each sentence.
