A fool proof criteria for selection of professionally qualified and competent physical educationists should be involved. • Making physical education and sports a compulsory subject from primary school to Intervarsity level. • Mass participation • Transparency in selection teams games and individual sports.

  3. Preparation of qualified coaches (academic qualification- B.P.Ed) • Preparation of well qualified teachers of physical education, only two courses should be there i.e B.P.Ed and M.P.Ed. • Govt. should ensure that the physical education gets its due place in the educational curriculum. • Govt. should not hesitate to take drastic step such as banning participation in international competition till the country is fully prepared to that standard.

  4. The responsibility should be fixed on those who are concerned with the preparation of teams, their selection trials, their clearance for the international competitions and their results. • The outstanding sports persons in all gams should get their due recognition without any discrimination. • Media should be fair to project all the games for their exposure and promotion in the country.

  5. Professionally qualified and competent people should be given key posts in the sports federation and Sports Authority of India.
