All About Me ~Mrs. Ferrari~
My Loves I absolutely adore my family because they mean the world to me. I have been married 3 years to Coach Ferrari, whom is a PE/Health teacher here at UGMS! We just had a son named Corbin and he is the light of our life. We are actually expecting twins in the winter. I also have two dogs, Asia and Kaiya. My mom actually teaches at one of our rival schools…Ola Middle. She is actually my inspiration for becoming a teacher! My dad is train engineer and often blocks the railroad crossings here in Henry County. I also have one younger brother named Jarrett.

Early Education I was born in Macon, GA and lived there for 15 years. We ended up moving to Henry County my sophomore year in high school, so I have lived here now for almost 17 years. Even though we moved, I graduated from Tattnall Square Academy in Macon as Valedictorian of my class. I had the highest average of all my peers and had to give a huge speech at graduation. My brother actually graduated from Henry County High School. After high school, I knew I wanted to go to a big university, and I was lucky enough to be accepted into the University of Georgia. I ended up graduating from UGA with my Bachelors degree in Middle School Math and Science Education. (If you look around, you will notice I am a huge DAWG fan! I was destined to become a Georgia Bulldog!)

Graduate Education After teaching for five years, I decided to go back to school and work towards getting my Masters degree. In 2007, I graduated from Walden University with my degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment. This past year, I attended classes for Lincoln Memorial University and finished my Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction this summer. I am still contemplating if I will go back to school to get my Doctorate degree. With all my schooling, I have been in school for almost 21 years of my life!
Life at UGMS After college, I was lucky enough to start my career here at Union Grove Middle School as a Wolverine. I have truly found my passion. This year will be my eleventh year of teaching, and I am still loving every single second of it. I have taught both math and science, but I absolutely love science. I also coached basketball here at UGMS for seven years. I have coached 7th and 8th grade boys and 8th grade girls. I am not coaching this year, but I hope to return to it soon. I am also sponsoring Beta Club this year for 6th grade and will be helping Student Council.
