Inversion tools ARTS (Atmospheric Radiative Transfer Simulator) is a forward modelling tool. Qpack is a layer around ARTS to perform forward modelling and retrieval work. It adds functionality for sensor modelling and inversion. It can be used for a broad range of receivers operating at mm and sub-mm wavelengths, in any kind of geometry. The Optimal Estimation Method, OEM, is used for the inversions
