  2. Step one: Choose your dig location Location Two: Delta, Utah Location One: Lee County, Florida

  3. Location One: Lee County, Florida Lee County, Florida is home to Fossil Expeditions, where you can find bones and teeth of ancient mammals and sharks. Step One: Choose your expedition! Megalodon Expedition: Search for teeth of C. Megalodon and other sharks. Fossil Expedition: Search for mammal, reptile and shark fossils

  4. Florida Fossil Expedition Before you start your expedition, choose the tool that you would like to use! Tool #2: Snorkel and Water Proof bag Tool #1: Shovel and Sifter

  5. You chose Tool #1! Now, click on the dinosaur to begin your dig!

  6. Dig Results! You used a shovel and a sifter and found a fossil of a Porcupine fish! Congratulations! Click on the house to go back and try the Fossil Adventure again!

  7. You chose Tool #2! Now, click on the dinosaur to begin your dig!

  8. Dig Results! Unfortunately you used your tools to snorkel and look around for underwater fossils, but didn’t seem to find any! Try again! Click on the house to go back and try the Fossil Adventure again!

  9. Florida MegalodonExpedition Before you start your expedition, choose the tool that you would like to use! Tool #2: Shovel Tool #1: Sifter

  10. You chose Tool #1! Now, click on the dinosaur to begin your dig!

  11. Dig Results! After sifting through the sand and water, you were able to find a tooth of the C. Megalodon! Congratulations! Click on the house to go back and try the Fossil Adventure again!

  12. You chose Tool #2! Now, click on the dinosaur to begin your dig!

  13. Dig Results! Congratulations! You found ancient C. Megalodon teeth embedded in stone. Unfortunately, you don’t have the tools to remove the teeth for a souvenir, but it’s a good find! Click on the house to go back and try the Fossil Adventure again!

  14. Location Two: Delta, Utah Delta,Utah is home to the U-Dig Fossil site, where you can find trilobites (marine arthropods ) or geodes on your dig! Step One: Choose your expedition! Geode Expedition: Search for interesting volcanic or sedimentary rocks! Trilobite Expedition: Search for extinct marine arthropods!

  15. Utah Trilobite Expedition Before you start your expedition, choose the tool that you would like to use! Tool #1: Shovel Tool #2: A heavy hammer and pick

  16. You chose Tool #1! Now, click on the dinosaur to begin your dig!

  17. Dig Results! After digging through to find trilobite fossils, you realize you need a heavier shovel and better digging equipment. Try again! Click on the house to go back and try the Fossil Adventure again!

  18. You chose Tool #2! Now, click on the dinosaur to begin your dig!

  19. Dig Results! After a lot of hard work and digging with your heavy hammer and pick, you were able to find a trilobite fossil! Congratulations! Click on the house to go back and try the Fossil Adventure again!

  20. Utah Geode Expedition Before you start your expedition, choose the tool that you would like to use! Tool #1: Rock Chisel Tool #2: Rock Hammer

  21. You chose Tool #1! Now, click on the dinosaur to begin your dig!

  22. Dig Results! After using your rock chisel to break away at the outer layers, you uncovered a geode with clear quartz crystals! A real find! Congratulations! Click on the house to go back and try the Fossil Adventure again!

  23. You chose Tool #2! Now, click on the dinosaur to begin your dig!

  24. Dig Results! Congratulations! With much hard work, you were able to use a rock hammer to uncover a beautiful geode with a purple amethyst crystal! Congratulations! Click on the house to go back and try the Fossil Adventure again!
