  8. 1 John 2:17– “And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 2 Cor.4:18– “while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” 2 Pet.3:10-12– “10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall be dissolved with fervent heat, and the earth and the works that are therein shall be burned up. …”

Faith is the Victory! 1 John 5:4,5– “4 For whatsoever is begotten of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, even our faith. 5 And who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” Heb.11:1; Eph.6:16; 1 Pet.1:5 We must fight to win over the world 1 Tim.6:12; 2 Tim.4:6-8; Rev.21:7
